"Blackberry Thumb"
I thought this Spotlight from Answers.com was funny.
Spotlight: You've heard of tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome. Now let us introduce you to Blackberry thumb (similar to Nintendo thumb), the latest malady in the list of repetitive strain injuries. The hand-held email/messaging/browser device — like Palm Trēos and some smartphones, among others — has the kind of keyboard that is operated by thumbing. Constant use of the thumbs in the limited way demanded by these devices can cause numbness and pain — symptoms of damage done to the surrounding muscles, tendons and other tissues.
Quote: "If you can go through life without experiencing pain you probably haven't been born yet."
