This morning
T:: tmmumble
B:: A teronadon! Wow what a good teronadon dinosaur that is.
T was “coulouurinng” (we have this fun set-up where he sits in the step/chair Uncle J redid for him, pulled up to the footstool of the ‘sleeping chair’. One of the foam floor tiles is turned upside down over the footstool as the coloring surface to put the paper on.) with crayons. I went in to investigate.
T and B were now working on pelicans and seagulls. Daddy draws good seagulls; T asks for them a lot.
T moved on to a new piece of paper. Very seriously, T put crayon to paper.
M:: What’s that?
T:: Poop!
M:: oh.
T:: Teronadon poop.

Last evening T said at one point, "I'm a monkey!" Later when I was in another room I heard T tell B, "I'm a lion." Then he roared his lion roar.

T climbed in Bis' box. "Dwiving," he said. So Daddy went and got the "ride" towel and took him on a ride.

T wanted to color again this morning (Fri, 6.13), so we brought out the stuff. He sat down and with a green crayon drew a circle then a line.
M:: I like that.
T:: is mommy
M:: oh wow
T:: mommy hair
M:: oh, I like how you drew my hair!
T continued drawing circles, squiggles, and lines. He added purple and red.
T:: two mommies. Mommy cwying.
M:: oh, why is mommy crying?
T:: go work. Mommy leave T.
M:: oh sweet T, you know mommy loves you even when she isn’t with you.
T finished the drawing by adding a pelican to the side. Something I at first misunderstood to be a pine cone.
Happily, the next piece of paper he drew on has a drawing of an elephant and a giraffe playing in the water. That one is on our fridge, while Two Mommies Crying came with me to work.
